I’d never taken a chance on a crowd sourced product but when I saw where they were going with this, I felt I had to get in on it. It was the type of chair I’d always been looking for. The chair delivers an improved quality of life. You can put your body in familiar yoga postures with support or not. It is well constructed, so you can feel confident that it will hold up as you put weight into it. I’ve only had mine a month but it feels like a solid 20 year fixture in our bedroom, which now becomes an easy second office with this chair serving functionally as desk, chair, and power nap platform – a health supporting space saver!
The most comfortable, versatile, and genuinely enjoyable chair I’ve ever owned
After the delays due to production and shipping issues, as well as the pandemic, I grew very frustrated with the wait and the expense of the chair.
Now that I’ve received it and have been using it for a few weeks, it is literally the most comfortable, versatile, and genuinely enjoyable chair I’ve ever owned in my life. I’ve rolled through a lot of different computer/office/gaming chairs in my life, of varying cost/quality/comfort, and the beyou chair blows them all out of the water.
Right out of the gate, the assembly was incredibly easy. With the versatility of the chair and its strict quality control I was expecting a grueling and lengthy assembly, but was blown away when it took me less than 10 minutes and without using almost any tools (there was one screw that didn’t fit in its location but it was only to help put a plastic piece of cover over an area on the back of the chair, but the other screw fit fine and the plastic piece is secure). The beyou team clearly thought this out well and it absolutely shows. The assembly instructions also came on a very attractive, XXL placard with fully colored illustrations on how to put the chair together which I loved way more than I thought I would. Clear, concise, easy, and perfectly detailed.
The extra large wheelbase takes a little getting used to, and a few stubbed toes, but once you use the chair in different positions it makes complete sense as it offers a very steady sense of security and balance. The multiple different steel components add weight but more importantly make the chair incredibly sturdy and don’t take away from the appearance at all.
The padding is extremely comfortable and supportive, with perfect arches on the arm-rest areas that wrap around to the outside for extra comfort and support, and the fabric is comfortable, smooth and very resistant to all sorts of dirt and wear and tear.
The toggles to use all the different functions on the chair are subtle, very simple to use, and I haven’t had a single issue with them not locking properly. They’re also very intuitive and very well placed, and every single one is designed for a quick function so there aren’t any unnecessary toggles or handles and none of them stick out or are eyesores, unlike several other adjustable chairs on the market.
I have used the chair in multiple different positions, including pretty much all of the images provided on this site, and as a 6 foot 3 inch tall, 245 pound man I feel very safe and able to stretch out and really enjoy the chair.
Lastly, I ordered the natural color of the chair, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Not too modern, retro or mid-century, it fits perfectly with pretty much everything in my house and whenever friends or family come over I insist that they try it out.
The only complaint I have, and it’s not even really a complaint, more of a little hiccup I’ve noticed, is that even though the chair and arms lock into position they do rock slightly either back and forth or from left to right. It doesn’t interfere with the function of the chair and it doesn’t seem like any kind of mechanical issue just maybe a natural shift in the components. If it’s unusual or abnormal then I’m more than willing to work with the beyou team on finding a fix, because like I said above I’m pretty obsessed with the chair.
5/5 and I’d give a 9.9/10 if I could, just the tiny deduction for the slight wobble. I absolutely need this chair for the rest of my life and plan on taking very good care of it.

Appears to be very well made and sturdy
This was a gift for my adult son. He works from home and prefers to sit in many different positions throughout the day. He just received his chair and said it was very easy to put together! He said it appears to be very well made and sturdy. He is excited to try it!

I just received my Beyou chair!
Both packages arrived together the boxes came in good condition. Set up was super easy I followed the video. The chair is in excellent quality strong and sturdy. This is a gift from my son who is a height of 5”9 and he loves it! He would not stop kissing me and repeatedly thanked me and his dad. I tried sitting on it and it was extremely comfortable for me as well. Thank you for making this chair, thanks to your entire team for all your hard work!!
